| Problem | In interdisciplinary group work, the problem can occur, that several terms haven’t been familiar to all group members. This leads to a certain hierarchy due to the different educational background of the students. |
| Framework | Heterogenous background of students like different studies or specializations |
| Solution | The problem can be tackled by the following strategies: - Mentoring the students before and during of the project - Providing examples for the students (of previous projects) - Ensure equally allocation of different studies in each team - Constitute in the group contract, that the students with the needed background explain unknown terms to the group members - Introduce a new task “common ontology”, where important terms needs to be defined by the team –> Soft introduction |
