Evaluation of the course

Problem In order to be able to continually improve the VCL projects and develop them further, it is necessary to evaluate each project with a suitable instrument.
Framework Running a VCL project, interest in quality of the course, interest in running further VCL projects
Solution
To ensure the quality of the course, it is advisable to carry out an evaluation at the end oft he VCL project. The evaluation should take place after the presentation of the results and should be, if possible, anonymous in order to show that the stated opinions oft he learners will not influence the assessment. Online questionnaire can be a suitable instrument if the VCL participants cannot be accessed directly. The questionnaire can be made available via the central platform. The questionnaire should include both closed as well as open question. Closed questions can be answered quickly and their results are comparable, while open questions allow the participants to freely state their opinions and ideas. The items in the questionnaire should cover following areas:

-The content and focus of the VCL project

-The clarity of the task

-Acceptance of the course format and group work in general

-Satisfaction with the course design, group work, supervision and support, and the used tools

-learning outcomes

It is also possible to carry out the evaluation locally, if this is an option, in personal or group interviews.
