-^**Solution** | | +^**Solution** | \\ Since feedback is a central factor in pedagogy to support teaching and learning processes, the participants of a VCL project must be informed about the evaluation results. \\  \\ On the one hand the grade has to be communicated, on the other hand the feedback as a reason for the grade. Since universities, especially in an [[:patterns:management_of_cooperation_partners:adapting_the_vcl_project_to_the_institutional_needs_of_the_partners|international context]], often have their own evaluation systems, it is useful to agree on a neutral scale (e.g. 100%) already at the planning stage. All participants can then be assessed with the same measure. Each partner institution can then convert the neutral scale into its own grades. The formal communication of the grade is then carried out by the examination office and the examination and grade management system used there. \\   \\  The feedback on the origin of the grade should ideally include the following aspects: \\   \\  - Statements about how well a task was completed and \\  - Statements about the process of task processing (both at the level of the individual and at the level of the group). \\   \\  If the students can be reached personally, a personal consultation is most efficient. Individual online consultations can also be offered for spatially distributed participants. However, these can be somewhat problematic due to the limitations of the media. It is therefore advisable to create a report for each participant that includes his or her individual sub-grades and clarifies the calculation of the overall grade. Participants for whom this explanation is not sufficient can seek individual consultation. It is also possible to give each participant formulated written feedback. This, however, involves a great deal of effort.|
