Welcome

The Decision-support Didactical Design Patterns (DDDP) are a practical guideline for appropriate design and systematic implementation of Virtual Collaborative Learning (VCL) to help academic and administrative staff in replicating international best practices in their local teaching and learning processes.

The patterns are developed and extended based on existing best practices for the transfer of Virtual Collaborative Learning (VCL) projects and the lessons learned in capacity building programmes to help replicating and optimising the design and implementation of VCL courses at Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).

What is VCL?

Virtual Collaborative Learning (VCL) projects have been used at the Chair of Information management since 2001 in various settings. They have also been an integral part of research and transfer projects. The core concepts, objectives, and benefits of VCL are explained in the following short video.
